With steel beams, double brick, and rich blackbutt timber floors, John designed and built a home not just to stand the test of time — but to hold it. A place where he and his family would live out decades of family life, where children would grow beneath the shade of tall trees, and where the soundtrack of the surf be the backdrop of their everyday life. The street was quiet back then, just a handful of homes and neighbours, but as the years passed, Beverley Place blossomed into a peaceful, family-friendly cul-de-sac — the kind of street where front doors stay open and friendships last a lifetime.
