Boost your child’s swimming skills with our intensive learn to swim program.
It’s a great alternative for anyone who cannot attend weekly lessons or to assist the regular weekly swimmer in perfecting that skill that’s required to progress to the next level.

- 1 x 30 minute lesson – timeslots available between 8 and 11am

This would have to be one of the best resources in the area when it comes to helping kids be aware of how lucky they are to live by the coast! The Coastal Environment Centre (CEC) also offers a school holiday program with a difference. “With a unique theme for each day, your child will learn about our natural environment through a range of fun and interesting activities. This is a great opportunity for children to learn about our environment and how they can help preserve it. The holiday program is suitable for children six to 12 years. (unless otherwise noted).

The perfect activity for our little surfies! Manly Surf Guide has made teaching surfing their business and in the school holidays they run surf camps that operate from Dee Why Beach from 10am-2pm. On the camp kids will learn:

In this fun interactive show, you’ll discover the science required to reach the Moon and the space programs that made it all happen. From trajectories & orbits to rocketry & materials science, we’ll look at current and future space programs, operations and missions. This show is presented by Fizzics Education.
Good to know: Suitable for primary school aged children. Adults are welcome to stay for the show, however you will need to book a FREE ‘accompanying adult’ ticket to attend.

The Big Bounce, St. Ives Showground

Spend your spring school holidays at the world’s biggest (and most over-the-top) jumping castle! As part of its 2022 Comeback Tour, The Big Bounce’s 1500 square metre inflatable kingdom is coming to St. Ives Showground. Kids can run, roll, dip and dunk with the park featuring obstacle runs, ball pits, giant slides, climbing towers and basketball pits.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Kids can also compete in the bouncy Sport Slam arena, adventure through 50 unique obstacles in The Giant maze and get lost in the out-of-this-world inflatable world called Air Space. There are dedicated sessions for toddlers ages 3 and under, juniors ages 7 and under, bigger kids ages 15 and younger, plus adults only sessions (ages 16+).

St Ives Treetops Adventure + Playground
Families have a new experience to explore along the southern border of Ku-ring-gai National Park. St Ives is our newest Tree Ropes Course Park, hosting 95+ aerial obstacles and 10+ ziplines, all suspended between platforms to create a maze of activities in the treetops. Courses start at 1m for little climbers and jump up to 15 metres for bigger adventurers!
Sessions run for 2.5-hours to climb as many courses as you can during your session. You can choose to start on low easy courses or go straight up on a higher course. If you don’t feel like climbing up on a higher level, you are always welcome to complete a lower or same course again during your session. Your session includes harnessing, training and approx 2-hours of climbing.
When you’re done there’s a spectacular new playground to explore as well! Perfect for spring school holidays!

Room on the Broom, The Concourse Chatswood

Following sell-out seasons across Australia, CDP Kids’ adaptation of the popular children’s book, Room on the Broom, is coming to the Concourse. This theatrical show follows the adventures of a witch and her cat on a dark and stormy night. A helpful dog, bird and frog find the witch’s lost things, and they all hop on the broom for a ride. But is there room for everyone on the broomstick and who will save the poor witch when a hungry dragon appears? See how it all unfolds with songs, laughs and scary fun at this stage show for children aged three and up – and their grown-ups!
