Our Property – Announcing our transition to new Property Management software

Over the last eighteen months there have been some exciting advances in the property tech space and this is something we have been keeping a close eye on, in particular the Property Management space. With three or four main players now in the Property Management software market, our Technology and Innovation Committee have been carrying out research and investigations to see what best suits and also adds value for our clients and the business overall. We have been through testing phases with a few alternatives and as such, we are now ready to embark on the transition to our new Property Management software – Our Property.

Our Property is a fully integrated software system that will replace our existing software program. Our Property automates several areas of Property Management, providing improvements to the way we communicate with Landlords, Tenants and Trades in regard to maintenance jobs, rental payments and inspections. In turn, this will allow our team to focus on what they do best, managing and maintaining properties and nurturing the relationships surrounding it.

The new platform also features a client dashboard for each Landlord and Tenant that will allow them to view everything to do with the property all in one place. At a glance, our Owners will be able to approve or reject maintenance requests, access and view all inspections, view complete maintenance history and invoices online. Similarly, our Tenants will be able to submit maintenance requests and receive notifications at every stage of the repair, access and view all inspections, view a complete maintenance history and access your rental ledger all via an app. Having this real time information available is an incredible value add for our clients who will be able to login and see updated information on requests within a few clicks.

We are rolling out this new software over the next 2-3 months, one module at a time. If you are a Landlord or Tenant of ours, we will keep you updated during this process and you will know as soon as you have access to the Landlord or Tenant Dashboard.
