Love Living in - Seaforth
Did you know?
Seaforth can be literally translated into 'see more'. And quite rightly so from the top of the suburb.
Seaforth Crescent boasts some of the steepest, habitable blocks of land in Sydney.
The western side of Seaforth boasts netted harbour pools, as there is much suspicion that this area of the harbour is a shark breeding area.

Seaforth spans a wide area bordered by North Balgowlah, Balgowlah Heights and Clontarf.
It is an expansive and diverse suburb. Properties range from opulent waterfront homes with beautiful views of Middle Harbour right through to the few remaining affordable family houses on the Northern Beaches. Increasingly however these homes are being redeveloped into quality family homes.
Seaforth Village shops offer a range of boutiques, cafes and various services. The village is a bustling centre, with many city buses utilising Seaforth as the last drop off and pick up point before the CBD.
Seaforth Oval has recently been upgraded and is home to Seaforth Football Club and the local Little Athletics team during Summer. There is a large primary school and Balgowlah Boys High School sits on the border of Balgowlah and Seaforth.
Seaforth has for many years been home to Dalwood Homes, a community services centre housed in an historic and striking sandstone building. Dalwood is home to the Spilstead Centre, offering much needed support to both local and regional children and their families.
With easy access to Middle Harbour and Garigal National Park, residents of Seaforth enjoy fishing, boating and bush walking. Seaforth presents a very different aspect to living on the Northern Beaches, with the close proximity to Middle Harbour allowing lucky residents to feel quite remote from the city. Middle Harbour offers beautiful bushland outlooks and abundant natural beauty.
