Our Story

When John and Ann Cunningham established Cunninghams Property twenty years ago, their vision was to create a trusted, independent and family-run business offering compelling advice to property buyers, sellers, investors and renters.  They established their real estate agency seeking the best outcome for every single one of their clients.  Every interaction with property sellers, buyers, investors, tenants and others involved in aspects of the business would be a valuable and productive experience for them.    

Well, the industry has grown considerably since then, technology has changed dramatically and the market has gone through many phases.    But that core philosophy remains – to seek the very best outcome for clients of Cunninghams Property and develop relationships built on trust.

John Cunningham is one of the most highly regarded Principals in NSW.   He commands an enormous amount of respect from his clients, his peers and his loyal team.  The Cunninghams team is now 35 strong and new team members only join Cunninghams when John and Ann are convinced that they too share the same ethos.

Holding these beliefs and ethos central to all that we do has meant that Cunninghams continues to grow each year, as does our market share.  Our position in the market is envied by many of our competitors.  We have never lost sight of what is important. 

Quite simply, after twenty years, it still holds true and is the foundation of Cunninghams Property’s success. 

Our industry is one of the most vibrant and important in the Australian economy. 

At Cunninghams Property, we have an enormous amount of pride and respect for our industry and we are heavily involved in numerous industry bodies. 

Our motive is always to ensure we deliver the best possible service to our clients so that ultimately our clients benefit from a better informed, better trained and highly regarded industry.

For many years, members of our team at Cunninghams Property have been involved with the REINSW, regularly speaking at industry events.  In particularly, many of our team have mentored and lectured those studying to become qualified in the industry so that they too may share our same aspirations for the Real Estate industry.

We are governed and accredited by both the Real Estate Institute of NSW and we are members of the Real Estate Results Network, Australasia's largest network of' independent real estate agencies.

Our team has grown considerably over the years and we are proud of our team.  We are a diverse bunch, with skills from different industries and different specialties.  It works well!
